Well.
This review was fairly in line with what i thought of their recent cd.
It's kind of okay but i wouldn't recommend it as a must buy.
Dexys at Green Man?
Lots of effin and a fair bit of jeffin.
Slightly uncomfortable late middle aged wailing by Kev. The story of the failed relationship on "i'm always gonna love you" is pretty funny though.
Come on Eileen was milked to within an inch of developing mastitis. People kept wanting to applaud 'the big tune' and then they started up again. And again.
Good musicians in the band. Kind of good overall. I'm trying to avoid saying 'meh', but at times it was.
i know what you mean. i love dexys but i know it'd be a bit ( to say the least ) ropey live.
