Lucy Rose

Okay..you want some new music? Well this is very.... 'me'.

 Perhaps it might be 'you'?

I saw Lucy Rose at this year's Green Man with my brother-in-law. (too much detail? did you need to know it was with my brother-in-law?).

I was impressed. I was also pretty knackered.

This week i followed up on the impressive first impression and got hold of her new cd, out this week in all good record stores (i think Play.com have signed copies, which i've only just found out).

I'm trying to define why i like it. it....just feels....honest? Does that make sense? Have a listen to one of the tracks. 

[next time i will try some music out of my comfort zone, i promise. anyone got any suggestions? norweigan dub grindcore?]
