But....what...does it all.....mean?
It's a joke, right? It's a spoof that ridicules people who jumped on the 'street art' thing without really thinking about it, and who paid ginormous amounts in the process. Yet, the MBW guy seems to genuinely exist outside of the film. IS it a joke? Rhys Ifans putting on a different accent to his normal one too. And the banksy interviews' voice disguise seems OTT. The MBW guy's interviews seem like acting/improv.
I'm not totally sure, but i think the doubt makes it an interesting watch- not knowing whether to take it as an honest documentary. And if the aim is to cut copyists short and give banksy a fresh start to do different things, then.....um
