Have you heard 'reflektor', the new arcade fire tune?
I've been enjoying giving it a spin, digitally speaking. LCD soundsystem stylings with bowie on backing vocals. What's not to like?
The art video project is great too. Have you seen that? It's shot in Mali and it syncs with your smart phone so you can adjust what happens in the video by waving your phone around. It also puts images of you sat in front of your computer into the video itself. Strange fare, but great effort by all involved.
Good hyping up from Arcade Fire in advance of their new cd. Stone Roses style grafitti of the artwork in cities around the world, countdown clocks on the website and then whizz bang promo video too. And even better, the hype is justified by a great tune. That old school flicker of excitement about an upoming musical release is upon me again.
